LUCIA (Sara Grizzaffi) is a Denver-based new media artist + creative technology designer who uses projection, sensors, custom software, and emerging technology to create responsive experiences in physical space. Her work explores how light, sound, movement, and interaction can transform an environment and change the way people experience it.

Drawing from patterns in the natural world and an ongoing interest in perception, the nervous system, and human connection, LUCIA creates work that responds to the people within it. Technology is both a creative medium and a tool for participation, inviting audiences to influence what they see, hear, and experience together.

LUCIA has created installations for cultural institutions, public spaces, and commercial projects, with work presented at Denver Botanic Gardens, the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver, the Wheeler Opera House in Aspen, and Carbondale Arts, among others.
